Joy, hope, peace

On this date twelve years ago, we heard the dreaded "C" word.

On this day, today, I am grateful
I continue to be grateful.
Grateful for so many things.

Things like hope, joy and peace.
And a whole lot more.

By the way, these angel bears are special to me

because I got them from the Seton Cancer Center

during the weeks of radiation treatment.

So much. So very much for which to be thankful.
