Fear sits timidly in the corner

Helplessness slinks to a nearby chair

Dancing with Anger is exhilarating 

Empowering

Better than cowering alone in the corner 

Better than rejoining Helplessness

Yes, Anger is a strong partner

Protective

Cynicism cuts in

Neither Fear nor Anger is ready to retreat gracefully

An awkward threesome jostles for dominance

Hate and Mocking watch from the shadows

Sneering

Violence quietly joins them unnoticed

Ready 

Waiting
