ReplyDeleteYes, this is the kind of place that is worth the effort to get there. And it's a different kind of effort than the usual spots. Rather than spending big money for a tour and climbing on a bus or getting picked up by a shuttle or driving to the next scenic overlook, this one required hiking through a rough trail and battling monster mosquitos. But oh, yes, it was worth it.

It's a little stressful at work this week and somehow this created a calm ... a release of the stress. Maybe it is the sense of something much greater than my cubicle which brought such peace :)
