Travel day
I find myself impressed with the interstate highway system. I think it is so cool that President Eisenhower enacted the plan those years ago. Yes, I am a geography geek – more than a little obsessed with maps. But yes, I find the plan and the implementation a bit amazing.
Now that I think about it, there are other amazing things in our country’s infrastructure – things like being able to find a restroom most anywhere. I am old enough to remember when that was not true – not to mention other places in the world where it is not something to count on.
And then there is the internet!
How amazing is THAT?!?!?!?
