- Temperature is climbing slowly. Didn't have to wear coat during the day.

- Stopped near Vinita, OK - at a forlorn little Super 8 motel on the wind-swept prairie
- Had to wear coats again and bundle up against the frigid Arctic air
- Decided not to search for a restaurant, but ate leftovers instead. Cold. Because our room had no microwave
